Delivery and shipping charges

Most items are shipped from Kyoto, with some exceptions.

• Shipping Carrier: Sagawa Express, Yamato Transport, Japan Post (Carrier cannot be chosen)

• Regarding Invoices: An invoice is usually enclosed with your package. However, if the name of the orderer and the recipient are different (e.g., for gift orders), an invoice will generally not be enclosed.

• From Order to Shipping: Orders placed by 9:00 AM on business days will be shipped within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). If you choose bank transfer as your payment method, shipping will occur after payment confirmation.

Shipping is free for orders totaling 8,000 yen (including tax) or more in a single transaction (excluding Hokkaido, Okinawa, and some remote islands). Free shipping for orders over 8,000 yen (including tax) For orders less than 8,000 yen (including tax) , the following shipping fees apply.

Orders of 8,000 yen (including tax) or more receive free shipping (excluding Hokkaido, Okinawa, and some remote islands).

• Handling Multiple Items in One Order: For multiple items with separate shipping fees ordered for one delivery address, the shipping fee will be the cost for one item as listed in the table above.

• Handling of Remote Islands and Other Areas: No additional shipping charges will apply for remote islands or certain other areas.

• Delivery Date Specification Service: You can specify a delivery date, including weekends.

• Time Specification

We ship internationally from Kyoto, Japan (except for certain items).

• Shipping Carriers: DHL or EMS (Japan Post Express Mail Service) The shipping method will be selected by us based on the destination and the contents of your order. *Please note: Customers cannot choose the shipping carrier.

• Shipping Preparation Time: Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) . *For bank transfers, shipping will proceed after payment confirmation.

• Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout after entering your shipping address. The total shipping cost will be displayed during the order process, and you can proceed to payment after confirmation.

• Customs duties and import fees are the responsibility of the customer. Depending on your country or region, customs duties, VAT (Value Added Tax), or customs clearance fees may apply. These charges are typically requested separately by the shipping carrier or customs authorities. We do not cover or refund any customs duties or fees.

• After shipping, we will send you an email containing the tracking number and carrier information. You can use the tracking services of DHL or EMS.

• We may change the shipping method due to the contents of the product or package size.
